About 3for100.com
What is 3for100.com?
3for100.com operates paid skill-based prize competitions for adults.
Entrants must correctly answer a qualifying question involving skill, knowledge or judgement before they can purchase an entry.
Is this gambling?
Our competitions are intended to operate as skill-based prize competitions rather than licensed gambling products.
Entrants must answer a qualifying question correctly before they can purchase entries. Full details are provided in our Competition Rules and Terms and Conditions.
Who can enter?
Unless a Competition page states otherwise, you must:
Be aged 18 or over.
Live in England, Scotland or Wales.
Use your own accurate personal details.
Have only one 3for100.com account.
Comply with our Competition Rules and Terms and Conditions.
Entries from Northern Ireland or outside Great Britain are not currently accepted unless a specific Competition states otherwise.
Entering Competitions
How do I enter?
To enter a Competition:
Create or sign in to your account.
Select the Competition.
Choose the number of entries you wish to purchase.
Answer the qualifying question.
Complete payment if your answer is correct.
Receive your entry confirmation and ticket number or numbers.
Your entries are not confirmed until payment has succeeded and your ticket numbers have been issued.
How many attempts do I get at the qualifying question?
You receive one attempt per Competition.
Consider your answer carefully before submitting it.
What happens if I answer incorrectly?
If your answer is incorrect:
You will not qualify to enter that Competition.
No payment will be taken.
No ticket or entry will be issued.
You will not receive another attempt for that Competition.
You may still enter a different Competition.
Refreshing the page, signing out or returning later will not give you another attempt.
Can I use another account to try again?
No.
You must not use another account, email address, identity, device or payment method to obtain another attempt.
Attempts to bypass the one-attempt rule may result in account suspension, cancellation of entries or disqualification.
Can I enter another Competition after answering incorrectly?
Yes.
An incorrect answer only blocks you from that specific Competition. You may still attempt other Competitions.
Does a new recurring round count as a new Competition?
Yes.
Each newly published recurring round is treated as a separate Competition and may have a new qualifying question and a separate one-attempt opportunity.
Will you reveal the correct answer?
The correct answer will not normally be revealed while the Competition remains open.
Does answering correctly guarantee an entry?
No.
A correct answer allows you to proceed to payment. Your entry is only confirmed when:
Payment succeeds.
Tickets remain available.
The transaction is recorded.
Your ticket number or numbers are issued.
Can tickets sell out while I am paying?
Yes.
Adding tickets to your basket does not guarantee that they remain available. Tickets are only secured after successful payment and allocation.
Entry Limits
Is there a monthly spending limit?
Yes.
Each person may spend no more than £250 on paid Competition entries during each calendar month.
This is a spending limit, not a limit of 250 individual tickets.
Does the £250 limit apply to each Competition?
No.
The £250 limit applies across all paid Competitions on 3for100.com combined during the calendar month.
When does the monthly limit reset?
The limit resets at the beginning of each new calendar month.
Can I increase the limit using another account?
No.
The limit applies per person, not per account, email address, device or payment method.
What happens when I reach the limit?
You will be prevented from purchasing further paid entries until the beginning of the next calendar month.
Can an individual Competition have a lower limit?
Yes.
A Competition may have its own lower maximum-entry limit. The individual Competition limit and the monthly £250 spending limit both apply.
What happens if a Competition is cancelled and refunded?
Where a Competition is cancelled and your payment is fully refunded, the refunded amount may be restored to your monthly allowance once the refund has been processed and recorded.
Payments and Entry Confirmations
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods will be shown during checkout.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Does 3for100.com store my complete card details?
No.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. 3for100.com does not intend to store your complete payment-card number or card-security code.
When is payment taken?
Payment is only requested after you answer the qualifying question correctly and proceed through checkout.
No payment should be taken following an incorrect answer.
Will I receive an entry confirmation?
Yes.
After a successful purchase, you should receive:
An on-screen confirmation.
Your ticket number or numbers in your account.
An entry-confirmation email.
What should I do if payment was taken but I received no tickets?
Do not attempt repeated payments.
Contact us with:
Your name.
Account email address.
Competition name.
Payment date and amount.
Any payment reference shown by your bank.
We will investigate the transaction.
Can I cancel an entry after purchasing it?
Valid entries are normally non-refundable once accepted and allocated, except where:
The Competition is cancelled.
A verified duplicate payment occurred.
A technical error affected the transaction.
A refund is required by law.
We agree that a refund is appropriate.
Draws and Winners
When will a Competition close?
The Competition page will state how it closes.
A Competition may close:
When all available tickets have sold.
At a published date and time.
When another clearly stated closing condition occurs.
How is the winner selected?
Unless the Competition page states otherwise, the winner is selected randomly from all valid and eligible paid entries.
The draw may use a cryptographically secure electronic random-selection process.
Can the owner choose the winner manually?
No.
The winner must be selected using the draw method stated on the Competition page.
How will I know who won?
The result will be published on the relevant winner or Competition-results page after the winner has been selected and the result is ready to be announced.
Customers who entered the Competition may also receive a result notification where that notification feature has been enabled.
Will everyone receive a winner email?
No.
Email is primarily used for essential messages such as:
Account verification.
Entry confirmations.
Security messages.
Refund information.
Provisional-winner notification.
Prize-claim instructions.
General winner announcements may be provided through the website or optional web-push notifications once that feature is available.
How is the winner contacted?
The provisional winner will normally be contacted using the email address registered to their account.
They may also receive a browser notification if web push has been enabled and is available.
How long does a winner have to respond?
Unless a Competition page states otherwise, the provisional winner must respond and complete the required checks within 7 calendar days of the first winner notification.
What happens if the winner does not respond?
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond in time, is ineligible or has breached the rules, they may be disqualified and another winner may be selected.
Will winner details be made public?
We may publish limited information to demonstrate that the Competition was completed and the prize was awarded.
This may include:
First name.
Surname initial.
Town, city or county.
Prize won.
Winning ticket number.
Draw date.
We will not publish private information such as a full home address, bank details, identity documents or personal email address.
Winner photographs, testimonials and videos will only be published with appropriate permission.
Prizes
What prize will I receive?
The prize will be the item or cash amount described on the relevant Competition page.
Read the full prize description before entering.
Can I choose cash instead of the advertised prize?
Only where the Competition page expressly offers a cash alternative or we agree otherwise.
A cash alternative is not automatically available.
How are cash prizes paid?
Cash prizes will normally be paid by bank transfer to an account held in the verified winner’s name.
How are physical prizes delivered?
Physical prizes will normally be delivered to an eligible address in England, Scotland or Wales.
The winner may need to provide proof of identity and address before delivery.
How long does prize delivery take?
We aim to provide the prize within 30 days after the winner has completed all required verification, unless a different period has been clearly stated.
Are delivery and other costs included?
The Competition page will explain what is included.
Unless expressly stated, prizes may not include:
Travel.
Insurance.
Installation.
Subscriptions.
Licences.
Running costs.
Accessories.
Other incidental expenses.
What happens if the advertised prize becomes unavailable?
Where circumstances outside our reasonable control make the exact prize unavailable, we may provide a reasonable replacement of equal or greater value.

No.
Only one account is permitted per person.
Can I enter on behalf of someone else?
No.
You must enter using your own account, identity and authorised payment method.
