3 For 100 — Paid Skill Competition Terms and Conditions

contact info: 3for100@proton.me

**Last updated:01/08/2026

1. The Promoter

1.1 These terms and conditions (the **Terms**) apply to paid skill competitions operated through **3for100.com** (the **Website**).

1.2 The promoter is kris mckenzie **3 For 100**, whose UK address for service is Newcastle Upon Tyne (the **Promoter**, **we**, **us** or **our**).

1.3 You can contact us at 3for100@proton.me

1.4 The Promoter is responsible for administering each Competition, receiving entries, conducting the draw, verifying winners and providing prizes.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

2.1 By creating an account, submitting an entry or accepting a prize, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Responsible Participation Policy and the specific information shown on the relevant Competition page.

2.2 You must read these Terms before entering. At checkout you will be asked to confirm your acceptance. We may record the date, time and version of the Terms you accepted.

2.3 Each Competition page forms part of these Terms and will state the prize, entry price, opening and closing arrangements, draw date or trigger, maximum number of entries, any per-person limit, the skill-question process and any special prize conditions.

2.4 If there is a conflict between these Terms and a Competition page, the Competition page takes priority only for details specific to that Competition. It cannot remove a statutory consumer right.

3. Who may enter

3.1 Competitions are open only to individuals who:

  • are aged **18 or over** at the time of entry;
  • are ordinarily resident in **England, Scotland or Wales**;
  • enter in their own name and for their own benefit; and
  • satisfy any additional eligibility conditions displayed on the Competition page.

3.2 Competitions are not open to residents of Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or any country outside England, Scotland and Wales unless a Competition page expressly states otherwise.

3.3 The Promoter's employees, directors and contractors, anyone directly involved in operating or auditing a Competition, and members of their immediate households may not enter.

3.4 We may require proof of identity, age, address and eligibility before confirming an entry or awarding a prize. Acceptable evidence may include photographic identification, proof of address and evidence that the account and payment method belong to the entrant.

3.5 If you do not provide satisfactory evidence within the reasonable period we specify, we may invalidate your entries or treat a prize as forfeited and select an alternative winner.

4. Accounts and entrant responsibilities

4.1 You must register an account using accurate, current information. Unless we expressly permit otherwise, each person may hold only one account.

4.2 You must keep your login details secure and must not allow another person to use your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4.3 Your full name, date of birth, email address, telephone number and residential address must remain accurate. We are not responsible for a failure to contact you caused by inaccurate or outdated details, although we will make reasonable efforts to contact a potential winner.

4.4 Entries or qualification attempts made using false details, another person's identity, automated software, bots, scripts, multiple accounts or another attempt to manipulate a Competition may be cancelled without a refund where the law permits.

4.5 You may not sell, transfer or assign an account, qualification, entry or ticket number to another person.

5. Skill requirement

5.1 Every entrant must demonstrate skill, knowledge or judgement by correctly answering the Competition question presented by the Website before purchasing entries.

5.2 The questions are intended to be sufficiently challenging to discourage a significant proportion of potential entrants from participating or to prevent a significant proportion of entrants from qualifying. A Competition is not based on payment and chance alone.

5.3 Each person is permitted **one answer attempt per Competition**. The Website may select a question at random from an approved question bank. Questions presented to different entrants may differ but will be designed to require a reasonably comparable level of skill, knowledge or judgement.

5.4 If your answer is incorrect:

  • you do not qualify to enter that Competition;
  • no entry or ticket number will be created;
  • you will not be charged for the attempted entry; and
  • you may not answer another question or make another qualification attempt for that Competition.

5.5 The correct answer will not be revealed while the Competition remains open.

5.6 Once you have correctly answered and qualified, you may purchase entries for that Competition up to the applicable per-person limit while it remains open. An incorrect answer must never be replaced with another question or a retry for that Competition.

5.7 Attempts to obtain another question through a second account, another identity, manipulation of browser sessions or any similar method may result in disqualification of all associated entries and suspension of the relevant accounts.

5.8 The Promoter will retain an auditable record of the question presented, the answer submitted, whether it was correct and the time of the qualification attempt.

6. How to enter online

6.1 To enter you must:

1. log in to your account;

2. select an open Competition;

3. correctly complete the skill requirement in section 5;

4. select the number of entries you want;

5. confirm your acceptance of the applicable terms;

6. provide valid payment; and

7. receive confirmation that payment has cleared and ticket number(s) have been allocated.

6.2 An order acknowledgement, pending bank transaction or incomplete checkout is not confirmation of entry. An entry becomes valid only after successful payment, a correct answer and allocation of a unique ticket number.

6.3 Ticket numbers are allocated automatically from the numbers available for that Competition. Selecting or purchasing more than one entry does not guarantee consecutive ticket numbers.

6.4 Your confirmed ticket numbers will be shown in your account and/or sent to your registered email address. You must contact us promptly if the confirmation appears incorrect.

6.5 All entries are paid online entries. **No free postal-entry route is offered.** Eligibility to enter depends on correctly completing the skill requirement, not on chance alone.

7. Competition structure, limits and odds

7.1 Each Competition is a separate promotion identified by its title and unique Competition reference or page.

7.2 The Competition page will display:

  • the prize and any cash alternative;
  • the price per entry;
  • the maximum number of entries available;
  • the maximum number of entries permitted per person;
  • the opening and closing arrangements;
  • the draw date, time or trigger; and
  • the method used to select the winner.

7.3 Each valid ticket number represents one entry in the final draw pool and has one equal chance of being selected.

7.4 Your chance of winning is the number of your valid entries divided by the total number of valid entries in the final draw pool. We will not state or imply that the odds are better than they are.

7.5 Buying more entries increases the number of entries you hold but does not guarantee a prize.

7.6 Entries received after the Competition has closed will not be accepted. We may reject entries above the stated per-person limit and refund only any excess entries accepted because of our system error.

7.7 Unless exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control make it impossible, the advertised prize will be awarded regardless of how many entries are sold. We will not reduce the prize, cancel the Competition or change its draw date merely because sales are lower than expected.

7.8 Images are for illustration, but the material description of the prize will be accurate. Any important model, specification, condition, cash alternative, delivery restriction or supplier condition will be stated on the Competition page.

8. Payments and spending limits

8.1 Entry prices are displayed in pounds sterling and are payable using the payment methods offered at checkout. Payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment service.

8.2 We apply a maximum total paid-entry spend of **£250 per person/account in each calendar month across all Competitions and payment methods**. We may set a lower limit, permit you to set your own lower limit, or refuse a payment where responsible-participation, fraud or security concerns arise.

8.3 You must use a payment method that you are authorised to use. A reversed, charged-back, fraudulent or otherwise unpaid transaction may invalidate the associated entries.

8.4 Prices will not change after an entry has been confirmed. Promotional discounts apply only under their published conditions.

9. Closing, sell-out and recurring Competitions

9.1 A Competition will close at the earliest of:

  • the published closing date and time;
  • allocation of the final available entry; or
  • another trigger clearly displayed on the Competition page before entry.

9.2 The draw will take place at the published time or as soon as reasonably practicable after the closing trigger. A short operational delay needed to verify payments, remove invalid entries or preserve draw integrity does not change the closing point.

9.3 A recurring Competition consists of separate cycles. Each cycle is a separate Competition with its own reference, entry pool and winner.

9.4 When one recurring cycle closes, another cycle may be created or opened automatically. Entries are never transferred or rolled from one cycle to another.

9.5 We may delay, suspend, extend, shorten or cancel a Competition only where reasonably necessary because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, fraud, security concerns, technical failure, legal requirements or another event that materially affects fair administration.

9.6 If we cancel a Competition without selecting a winner, valid paid entries will be refunded to the original payment method.

9.7 Any material change will be communicated clearly on the Website and, where practicable, to affected entrants. We will not make a change that unfairly disadvantages entries already accepted.

10. The draw and winner selection

10.1 After the skill requirement has determined who may enter, the winner will be selected at random from all valid and eligible entries in the final draw pool.

10.2 The Website uses a cryptographically secure computer process designed to produce verifiably random and auditable results. The draw record may include the method, draw time, entry-pool size, selected index or ticket number and other audit information needed to demonstrate integrity.

10.3 Each valid entry has one equal chance in the draw. The Promoter cannot choose or influence which valid ticket number the random process selects.

10.4 The selected entrant is a **potential winner** until identity, age, residency, qualification, payment and compliance with these Terms have been verified.

10.5 If a selected entrant is ineligible, has breached these Terms or does not claim the prize in time, we may conduct a redraw using the same fair random process from the remaining valid entries. The original draw and redraw history may be retained in the audit record.

10.6 The Promoter's decision on administrative and eligibility matters is final, subject to your statutory rights and the complaints process in section 19. We will provide evidence of the random draw where reasonably required.

11. Winner notification and claiming a prize

11.1 We will make reasonable efforts to contact a potential winner using the email address and telephone number registered to their account, normally within 48 hours of the draw.

11.2 We will make more than one reasonable contact attempt. The potential winner must respond and provide the requested verification information within **14 calendar days** after our first notification unless the Competition page specifies a longer period.

11.3 We will never require a winner to pay a claim fee. Contact us through the details published on the Website if you receive a suspicious winner message.

11.4 A physical prize must be claimed by the verified winner. A cash prize will be paid only to a UK bank account held in the winner's name, alone or jointly, unless we agree another secure and lawful method.

11.5 If the potential winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts, does not respond in time, fails verification, refuses the prize or is disqualified, the prize will be forfeited and we may select an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries.

11.6 We may extend a claim deadline where fairness reasonably requires it, but are not obliged to do so.

12. Prizes and fulfilment

12.1 The prize is the item, service or cash amount described on the Competition page. Unless stated otherwise, one main prize will be awarded to one winner.

12.2 We aim to provide the prize within 30 days after the winner has responded, completed verification and supplied any delivery or bank details reasonably required. If fulfilment will take longer, we will tell the winner and provide a reasonable expected date.

12.3 Standard delivery to an address in England, Scotland or Wales will be paid by the Promoter unless the Competition page clearly states otherwise. The winner is responsible for being available to receive the prize and for costs arising from a failed delivery caused by inaccurate information or unreasonable non-cooperation.

12.4 A non-cash prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available unless the Competition page states one or we offer one. If circumstances outside our reasonable control make the advertised prize unavailable, we may provide a reasonable substitute of equal or greater value. We will not reduce the prize because ticket sales were lower than expected.

12.5 A technology, vehicle, voucher or third-party service prize may be subject to the manufacturer's, retailer's or provider's standard warranty and conditions. Any material restriction will be stated on the Competition page.

12.6 The Promoter is not endorsed by or affiliated with a prize manufacturer or supplier unless the Competition page expressly says so. Brand names may be used only to identify a prize.

12.7 The winner is responsible for obtaining independent advice about any personal tax, insurance, registration or ongoing ownership consequences of accepting a prize.

12.8 Risk in a physical prize passes to the winner on delivery or collection. Ownership passes once the winner has been verified and any required handover documentation has been completed.

13. Winner information and publicity

13.1 To demonstrate that a valid award took place, we may publish the winner's first name, surname initial, general location such as county or city, winning ticket number, prize and draw date on the Website and our official social channels.

13.2 A winner may object to or request a reduction in publication by contacting us. We will consider the request in light of the winner's privacy rights and our obligation to demonstrate that the prize was awarded. We may still provide relevant winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent authority on request.

13.3 Photos, testimonials, reaction videos or promotional appearances are optional and require the winner's separate agreement. Refusing optional publicity will not affect entitlement to a validly won prize.

14. Refunds and cancellation rights

14.1 Subject to your statutory rights, a confirmed paid entry is normally final because the entry service and ticket allocation begin immediately at your request.

14.2 We may provide a refund where:

  • a Competition is cancelled without a winner;
  • a duplicate payment or payment-processing error occurred;
  • an entry was accepted despite a system error that made it invalid;
  • we decide a refund is the fairest resolution to a complaint; or
  • the law requires it.

14.3 We do not ordinarily provide a refund merely because you changed your mind, entered the wrong Competition, answered incorrectly, failed to win or did not use an account benefit before it expired.

14.4 Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. We may require reasonable verification before processing a refund.

14.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Disqualification and misuse

15.1 We may reject or disqualify an entry where we reasonably believe that the entrant:

  • is ineligible or supplied false or misleading information;
  • repeated a failed skill-question attempt through another account or identity;
  • exceeded an entry or spending limit through multiple accounts or identities;
  • used automation, scripts, bots or another unfair method;
  • interfered with the Website, payment system, question bank, draw or another entrant;
  • engaged in fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering or unlawful conduct;
  • abused, threatened or harassed staff, suppliers, winners or other entrants; or
  • otherwise materially breached these Terms.

15.2 We will act proportionately and consider the available evidence. Where appropriate, we may suspend an account while investigating.

15.3 Disqualification does not affect any legal rights or remedies available to either party.

16. Responsible participation

16.1 Competitions are entertainment and should not be treated as a way to make money, solve financial problems or obtain financial security. Never spend more than you can afford.

16.2 You can ask us to apply a lower spending limit, temporarily suspend your account for at least six months or permanently close it by contacting **[RESPONSIBLE PARTICIPATION EMAIL]**. During a requested suspension, we will prevent new entries and stop direct marketing to the suspended account as soon as reasonably practicable.

16.3 We may contact you, restrict entries, reduce limits, suspend an account or prevent further participation where we reasonably identify signs of financial harm, distress, excessive participation or other vulnerability.

16.4 Support is available from organisations including Citizens Advice, National Debtline, Samaritans and Mind. Further information is provided on our Responsible Participation page.

16.5 Our advertising will not target children or suggest that entering a Competition is an alternative to employment or a solution to personal or financial difficulties.

17. Data protection

17.1 We process personal data to operate Competitions, confirm qualification and entries, prevent fraud, contact and verify winners, provide prizes, keep audit records, comply with legal obligations and handle complaints.

17.2 More information about the personal data we collect, our lawful bases, retention periods, recipients and your rights is provided in our Privacy Policy.

17.3 Competition administration messages are not marketing and may be sent where necessary to operate a Competition you entered. Marketing messages will be sent only where permitted by law, and you may opt out at any time.

18. Liability

18.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your statutory rights, or any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

18.2 Subject to section 18.1, we are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, including telecommunications failures, payment-provider outages, internet disruption, malicious third-party activity or a supplier's failure, provided that we have taken reasonable steps to administer the Competition fairly.

18.3 We are not responsible for an entrant's failure to maintain accurate account details, check spam folders, meet a deadline or follow clearly stated entry instructions.

18.4 If a technical fault affects qualification attempts, entries or a draw, we may pause the Competition, restore from reliable records, void only affected entries and refund associated payments, or rerun the draw where reasonably necessary to restore fairness.

18.5 We do not exclude liability where doing so would be unfair or unlawful under consumer-protection law.

19. Complaints and disputes

19.1 If you have a complaint, email **[COMPLAINTS EMAIL]** with your name, account email, Competition reference, relevant ticket or order number and a clear description of the issue.

19.2 We will acknowledge the complaint promptly, investigate fairly and aim to provide a final response within **14 days**. If more time is reasonably required, we will explain why and provide an updated timeframe.

19.3 If the complaint remains unresolved, we will tell you whether an independent alternative dispute resolution provider is available and how to contact it.

19.4 Nothing in this section prevents either party from exercising their legal rights.

20. Changes to these Terms

20.1 We may update these Terms for future entries to reflect changes in law, regulation, guidance, technology or our services.

20.2 The version accepted when an entry is submitted will normally govern that entry. We will not retrospectively introduce a material change that unfairly disadvantages an accepted entry.

20.3 Any necessary change to an active Competition will be communicated clearly and limited to what is reasonably required to preserve legality, security and fairness.

21. General legal terms

21.1 If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

21.2 A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

21.3 These Terms are between you and the Promoter. No other person has a right to enforce them, except where the law expressly provides otherwise.

21.4 These Terms and each Competition are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in the Scottish courts. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to use another court.
