3 FOR 100 — COMPETITION RULES
contact info: 3for100@proton.me
Last updated: 01/08/2026
These Competition Rules explain in plain English how paid skill competitions on 3for100.com work. They should be read together with our full Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Responsible Participation Policy and the details shown on the page for the Competition you enter.
If these Rules conflict with the full Terms and Conditions, the full Terms and Conditions will apply. The specific Competition page will apply to details such as the prize, entry price, ticket limits and closing arrangements.
1. WHO CAN ENTER
1.1 You must:
- be aged 18 or over;
- be ordinarily resident in England, Scotland or Wales;
- enter in your own name and for your own benefit;
- have only one customer account; and
- meet any extra eligibility requirements displayed on the Competition page.
1.2 Residents of Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and countries outside England, Scotland and Wales cannot enter unless the Competition page expressly says otherwise.
1.3 The Promoter, anyone directly involved in running or auditing a Competition, and members of their immediate households cannot enter.
1.4 We may ask for proof of identity, age, residential address and eligibility before confirming an entry or awarding a prize.
2. PAID SKILL COMPETITIONS
2.1 Every Competition is a paid skill competition. Before buying an entry, you must correctly answer the skill, knowledge or judgement question presented to you.
2.2 Questions are intended to be sufficiently challenging to discourage a significant proportion of potential entrants from entering or prevent a significant proportion of entrants from qualifying.
2.3 These Competitions do not offer a free postal-entry route. Qualification depends on correctly completing the skill requirement and not on payment and chance alone.
3. ONE QUESTION ATTEMPT
3.1 Each person is allowed one answer attempt per Competition.
3.2 If you answer correctly, you qualify to buy entries for that Competition, up to its stated limits, while it remains open.
3.3 If you answer incorrectly:
- you do not qualify to enter that Competition;
- you will not be charged;
- no ticket number will be allocated;
- the correct answer will not be shown while the Competition is open; and
- you cannot receive another question or try again for that Competition.
3.4 Using another account, identity, device or browser session to repeat a failed attempt is prohibited and may lead to disqualification and account suspension.
4. Qualifying Question and One-Attempt Rule
Each Competition requires the entrant to answer a qualifying question involving skill, knowledge or judgement before purchasing an entry.
The following rules apply:
Each person is permitted one answer attempt per Competition.
The one-attempt rule applies per person, not merely per account, email address, device, payment method or household connection.
If the entrant answers correctly, they may proceed to purchase entries, subject to ticket availability, payment authorisation and all applicable entry limits.
If the entrant answers incorrectly:
they will not qualify to enter that Competition;
no payment will be taken;
no ticket or entry will be issued;
they will not receive another attempt for that Competition; and
the Competition will remain blocked for that entrant.
An unsuccessful entrant may still enter other Competitions, provided they meet the eligibility requirements and answer the relevant qualifying question correctly.
The correct answer will not be revealed while the Competition remains open.
Entrants must not use another account, identity, email address, device or payment method to obtain another attempt.
Attempts to bypass the one-attempt rule may result in the cancellation of entries, account suspension or disqualification.
Each separately published recurring round is treated as a separate Competition and may contain a new qualifying question and a separate single attempt.
A correct answer only qualifies the entrant to proceed to purchase. It does not reserve tickets, guarantee that payment will succeed or guarantee that the entrant will win.
5. Monthly Entry-Spend Limit
Each person may spend no more than £250 in total on paid Competition entries during each calendar month.
The monthly limit:
Runs from 00:00 on the first day of the calendar month until 23:59 on the final day of that month.
Applies across all paid Competitions operated through 3for100.com.
Applies per person and cannot be increased by creating multiple accounts, using different email addresses, devices, payment methods or personal details.
Is calculated using successfully paid Competition-entry purchases recorded against the entrant during that calendar month.
Is separate from any lower per-person limit displayed on an individual Competition page.
Prevents further paid entries once the entrant has reached the £250 monthly limit.
Resets automatically at the beginning of the next calendar month.
Does not guarantee that the entrant can spend the full remaining allowance where insufficient tickets remain available.
May be enforced across accounts that we reasonably believe are controlled by the same person.
Where we cancel a Competition and issue a full refund, the refunded amount may be restored to the entrant’s monthly allowance once the refund has been processed and recorded.
Attempts to evade the monthly limit may result in rejected purchases, cancelled entries, refunds, account suspension or disqualification.
6. ODDS OF WINNING
6.1 Each valid ticket number represents one entry in the final draw and has one equal chance of being selected.
6.2 Your chance of winning is the number of valid entries you hold divided by the total number of valid entries in the final draw.
6.3 Buying more entries increases the number of chances you hold but never guarantees that you will win.
7. CLOSING AND RECURRING COMPETITIONS
7.1 A Competition closes at the earliest of:
- its published closing date and time;
- allocation of its final available entry; or
- another closing trigger clearly displayed before entry.
7.2 A short delay may be needed after closing to verify payments, remove invalid entries or protect the integrity of the draw.
7.3 Each cycle of a recurring Competition is a separate Competition with its own reference, entries and winner. Entries never roll over or transfer to another cycle.
7.4 We will not cancel a Competition or reduce its prize merely because fewer entries were sold than expected.
7.5 We may pause, delay, change or cancel a Competition only where reasonably necessary because of fraud, security concerns, technical failure, legal requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a Competition is cancelled without a winner, valid paid entries will be refunded.
8. THE DRAW
8.1 After the skill requirement has determined who qualifies to enter, the winner is selected at random from all valid entries in the final draw pool.
8.2 The Website uses a cryptographically secure computer process designed to produce a verifiably random and auditable result.
8.3 The draw record may include the draw time, entry-pool size, selected ticket number, method used and other information needed to demonstrate that the draw was fair.
8.4 The Promoter cannot choose or influence which valid ticket number the random process selects.
8.5 The selected entrant is a potential winner until their identity, age, residency, payment, qualification and compliance with the rules have been verified.
9. WINNER CONTACT AND VERIFICATION
9.1 We will normally contact a potential winner using the email address and telephone number registered to their account within 48 hours of the draw. We will make more than one reasonable contact attempt.
9.2 The potential winner must respond and provide the requested verification information within 14 calendar days after our first notification, unless the Competition page gives a longer period.
9.3 We will never ask a winner to pay a fee to claim a prize.
9.4 If the potential winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, does not respond in time, fails verification, refuses the prize or is disqualified, the prize may be forfeited. We may then conduct an auditable redraw from the remaining valid entries.
10. PRIZES
10.1 The prize is the item, service or cash amount described on the Competition page. Unless stated otherwise, one main prize is awarded to one winner.
10.2 We aim to deliver or pay the prize within 30 days after the winner completes verification and provides the information reasonably needed for fulfilment.
10.3 Cash prizes will normally be paid only to a UK bank account held in the verified winner's name, alone or jointly.
10.4 A physical prize cannot be transferred and has no cash alternative unless the Competition page says otherwise or we offer one.
10.5 If circumstances outside our reasonable control make an advertised non-cash prize unavailable, we may provide a reasonable substitute of equal or greater value.
10.6 A winner is responsible for any continuing costs connected with accepting or owning a prize, including insurance, registration, maintenance or personal tax consequences, unless the Competition page says otherwise.
11. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND PUBLICITY
11.1 To show that a valid award took place, we may publish limited winner information such as the winner's first name, surname initial, general location, winning ticket number, prize and draw date.
11.2 A winner may object to or ask us to reduce the information published. We will consider the request while still meeting our obligation to show that the prize was awarded fairly.
11.3 Winner photos, testimonials, reaction videos and promotional appearances are optional and require separate agreement. Refusing optional publicity will not affect a valid winner's right to the prize.
12. REFUNDS
12.1 A confirmed paid entry is normally final once the entry service and ticket allocation have begun, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12.2 We may issue a refund where:
- a Competition is cancelled without a winner;
- there was a duplicate payment or payment-processing error;
- a system error accepted an invalid entry;
- we decide it is the fairest resolution to a complaint; or
- the law requires it.
12.3 We do not normally refund an entry because you changed your mind, chose the wrong Competition, answered incorrectly or did not win.
13. FAIR USE AND DISQUALIFICATION
13.1 We may reject or disqualify entries where we reasonably believe someone has:
- provided false or misleading details;
- used more than one account or identity;
- repeated a failed skill attempt;
- exceeded an entry or spending limit;
- used bots, scripts, automation or another unfair method;
- interfered with the Website, payment system, question bank or draw;
- used a fraudulent or unauthorised payment method; or
- materially broken these Rules or the full Terms and Conditions.
13.2 We may temporarily suspend an account while investigating suspected misuse. Decisions will be based on available evidence and applied proportionately.
14. RESPONSIBLE PARTICIPATION
14.1 Competitions are entertainment. They must not be treated as a way to make money, solve financial problems or obtain financial security. Never spend more than you can afford.
14.2 You may ask us to apply a lower spending limit, suspend your account for at least six months or close it permanently by contacting [RESPONSIBLE PARTICIPATION EMAIL].
14.3 During a requested suspension, you will not be allowed to make new entries and we will stop sending direct marketing as soon as reasonably practicable.
14.4 We may reduce limits, restrict participation or suspend an account where we reasonably identify possible financial harm, distress, excessive participation or vulnerability.
15. COMPLAINTS
15.1 Send complaints to [COMPLAINTS EMAIL]. Include your name, account email, Competition reference, relevant ticket or order number and a clear description of the issue.
15.2 We will investigate fairly and aim to provide a final response within 14 days. If more time is reasonably required, we will explain why and provide an updated timeframe.
